Om Agatheesaaya Namaha!
"Nine days before the Mahalaya Amavasya Tithi of the month of Purattasi, give food to the needy and do charity. On the day of Amavasya, worship the ancestors and the family deity (Kuladeivam/Kuldevata), and give Annadhanam (food) and distribute sweets to the disabled and poor. Also, feed the Gomatha (Cow)!".
This was told by Agathiyar Maharishi in the Jeeva Naadi last year. Today (16/09/22) marks the first day of the 9 days prior to Amavasya Tithi as mentioned by Agathiyar. He has also told that this should be done every year so that our Karmas will be eradicated! Therefore, I would request everyone to do this and get benefitted! Thank you!
